  Treated disgustingly by the security and manager.
  Tried to enter this venue with a group of girls who were given a bottle of water from their Uber driver (which is standard practice for a 5 star rating). We left the long line to go to a nearby pub in order to use their bathroom. When we returned to the line, after waiting for the duration of its length, we got to the front and the doorman asked who had the bottle, we informed him of our water bottle from the Uber driver but he proceeded to refuse us entry and refer us to his manager. He spoke to us in a disgusting manner, and moved us as if we were cattle. We spoke to the manager who informed us his colleague saw us walk past with a water bottle and we had refused to stop when he asked us to so he could smell our bottle. I would like to make it both very public and clear that said colleague never asked us to inspect our bottle or stopped us to talk to us at all. Following a conversation with the worker in question he admitted his lack of communication but continued that he fact he was in unfiorm meant that we should have just stopped in our paths to talk to him, without any request of that nature. This was a clear demonstration of a security guard power trip which eventually denied 12, 20 year old females entry based on no factual or legitimate circumstantial evidence. When I asked the manager if this meant he was denying all 12 girls entry, he claimed in a harsh and intimidating manner, "Is that a threat?!" - this response was much more akin to a threat than my simple question. The venue had been known to us as a bar that was all for young people, however after the complete unfairness and disgusting manner we were treated, I, we, and all of our friends will no longer be frequent visitors. We are disappointed at such an outcome considering the state of Sydney's nightlife post-lockout laws. The only way to avoid the appalling power-trip we were faced with is to avoid this venue.
